My Story

The wedding dress surgeon

I studied at the prestigious London College of Fashion where I am very proud to have been awarded a First-Class Honours degree in fashion. I then went on to study pattern-cutting at Central Saint Martins where I built on the skills and talent passed on to me by my mother and grandmother.

I have worked in bridal retail for over 20 years and in that time I have acquired a very real respect and understanding of the way we wish to be seen on our wedding day. The dress and how you feel in it is so important to me and has always been the part of my job that I love so much.

I have had many roles whilst in the wedding industry - I have designed for bridalwear companies, designed, manufactured and retailed my own collection of bridesmaids’ dresses and made bespoke gown. As a professional seamstress and gown technician I have altered many hundreds if not thousands of bridal, bridesmaid and flower girl dresses.

I hope that my knowledge and skill can help contribute to making you feel amazing on your big day. I look forwards to working with you and feel truly honoured to be part of your magical experience.
